Brad Pyburn
Managing Director, Deloitte & ToucheBrad Pyburn is a seasoned leader in cybersecurity and national security with 34 years of experience driving strategic innovation and operational excellence across the Department of Defense and private sector. Since November 2024, Brad has served as Managing Director for Cyber Strategy and Transformation at Deloitte, advancing mission resilience, cyber operations, and cybersecurity for the Defense, Security, and Justice sectors.
From May 2022 to September 2024 Brad served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing a $2.6 billion budget and operations for a global organization with 20,000 personnel. In this role, he optimized staff efficiency by 40% during unprecedented international crises, transformed HR practices, and advanced U.S. cybersecurity capabilities through innovative strategies in artificial intelligence and malware defense.
From June 2020 to May 2022 Brad served as Deputy Commander for Air Force Cyber & 16th Air Force. He oversaw cybersecurity for the $16.2 billion Air Force network, coordinated crisis response during the Ukraine conflict, and developed frameworks to secure critical defense systems like the F-35. Brad’s strategic foresight ensured mission continuity throughout incidents such as COVID and SolarWinds, solidifying his reputation as a leader in crisis scenarios.
Throughout his career, Brad has held key leadership roles, including Senior Director for Cyberspace Operations at HQ Air Force, Commander of the 67th Cyberspace Wing, and Chief Information Officer for Air Combat Command. In each position, he delivered transformative results—modernizing infrastructure, enhancing global partnerships, and securing operational excellence in the face of evolving cyber threats.
