Pearl S. Mundt
Executive Director, Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI)Pearl S. Mundt, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Executive Director, Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), Quantico, Virginia. Her responsibilities include strategic engagement, enterprise and headquarters management, development and integration of cyber and other command priorities, and oversight of the Special Investigations Career Program.
A career civil servant and Special Agent with AFOSI, Ms. Mundt directed and led law enforcement and counterintelligence investigations and operations at every Air Force level. She has served multiple tours as a Special Agent in Charge, a deployment to Iraq, Deputy Director of an AFOSI wing, and Deputy Director, Office of Security and Counterintelligence, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Chantilly, Virginia.
Prior to her appointment to the Senior Executive Service, Ms. Mundt served as the Executive Director, AFOSI Investigations Collections and Operations Nexus (ICON) Center, Quantico, Virginia, where she was the principal advisor to AFOSI and Department of the Air Force leadership on all global law enforcement, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, specialized investigative activities, and integrated force protection operations for the Department.
