Scott Heitmann
Chief Technical Officer, Department of the Air ForceMr. Scott Heitmann is a technologist, innovator, user-experience enthusiast and passionate about delivering game-changing capabilities to the Warfighter. As the Department of the Air Force Chief Technical Officer and Chief Architect, Mr. Heitmann helps drive enterprise efforts across the Department through strategies and roadmap documents: Network of the Future, End User Device, 5G, SDWAN and Black Core, and DevSecOps Enablement Strategies; supported by the Zero-Trust and ICAM roadmaps, and the ATLAS framework for Enterprise Architecture. He also manages the Innovation Landing Zone (ILZ) – delivering first-of-a-kind micro-services to the DAF; building coalitions across the cyber community to design, pilot and field Cloud Device Management, Device Direct-Patching, and 18 AI pilots.
Mr. Heitmann is a husband, a father, and a son; a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA, ACSC grad and CISSP member; he is extremely zealous about moving faster to ensure we dominate the fight tonight and secure America’s future.
