For military members & federal government employees traveling TDY:
Pre-travel authorization is required. Personnel must adhere to the latest travel guidance issued by OSD, DoD, and DAF, which can be verified prior to booking. Lodging exceeding the authorized locality per diem rate of $110 per night requires explicit approval from your organization before travel commences to be eligible for reimbursement. Consult with your unit leadership and Designated Travel System (DTS) Authorizing Official for guidance and pre-authorization requirements before submitting your Temporary Duty (TDY) travel authorization.
